Jess Meyer, PA-C is a certified Physician Associate who graduated from the Stanford University School of Medicine program.

Originally from Southern Oregon, he attended Reed College to receive his bachelors degree before pursuing his Physician Associate Certification. After working as a certified PA at another Orthopedic group in Seattle, he moved to the Portland area and joined Advantage Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Gresham, where he has been for more than a decade. Jess Meyer currently works with all of the doctors at Advantage Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. He also assists in surgery with joint replacement and sports medicine injuries. He has a strong background in general orthopedic and sports medicine and provides patients with diagnosis and treatment plans and also offers pain-relieving injections.

With his background and education, Jess developed a special interest in outpatient sports medicine and general orthopedics. He finds it to be very gratifying to be able to fix someone’s problem and watch people go from having an injury to being healthy again. He also feels it is vital to provide a personalized approach with each patient and maintains a special emphasis on patient education. Jess aims to empower his patients with that education, so that they understand the “why” behind their injury and recovery.

In his spare time, Jess enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, watching his two daughters compete in rock climbing competitions and spending time with his wife, family and friends. Read more about Jess and his adventure across Europe with his family
